Safety precautions are always assessed thoroughly if there is rain when relocating pianos. Ensuring there is no damage caused to your piano or property is our highest priority.

Pricing is calculated on many factors, including:

  • the size, model and type of piano (upright, pianola, grand )
  • terrain and number of steps at start and end locations (we don’t charge for steps if there are 3 or less )
  • access, including tight angles (if it’s going in a bedroom it may have to go on its side )

When pianos are moved properly, they will typically not go out of tune. The main reason for a piano to go out of tune after relocation is the change in humidity.

We recommend letting the piano settle in the new location for approximately 1-2 weeks.

If you are concerned about the sound of your piano, we can recommend professional piano tuners.
